OTS is a small consultancy providing computer systems and management support to individuals
or Small to Medium enterprises. The consultancy was formed in 1991
We specialise in
helping anyone from the complete novice on their initial installation right through
to the larger organisation that needs IT support but not enough to employ a full
time IT professional. Many of our clients began as small companies and have been
so successful that they have used our services to set up their own internal IT departments.
The Senior Consultant is a fully qualified Structural Engineer , a member of the
British Computer Society, Chartered Engineer and a Chartered IT Professional. He
has been working with computers since their birth in the early 70’s.
The company
has specified, supplied, installed and supported numerous networks of varying size
from 2 PC’s up to wide area networks linking multiple sites . We supply anything
from individual PCs to home users to the full support of small businesses including
their full installation, software developments and training requirements.
We have
reciprocal links with a number of other companies such as Telecoms suppliers, Internet
Service Providers, PC manufacturers and access to all the major hardware distributors.
Support can include the full installation of your office equipment including cabling.
A
number of software packages which have been specified and written by OTS are in constant
use as the main software in many offices. Programs are written in various languages
including C, C++, Fortran, Basic, Visual Basic.
Support can be provided for any size
or type of installation either on a contract basis or on a direct call out. Remote
support via a broadband connection is now a realistic option.
